WHAT YOU’LL DO

Strategic Leadership

Operations & Maintenance

  • Lead all aspects of facility maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen equipment, and building envelope.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and ADA regulations across all locations.
  • Design and implement an intuitive, mobile-first work order, communication, and dispatch process that creates a frictionless interface between restaurant operators and facilities, with clear SLAs and accountability.
  • Deploy technology-enabled maintenance practices (e.g., CMMS utilization, remote monitoring, IoT/predictive maintenance where applicable) to boost uptime and speed to resolution.
  • Respond quickly to critical facility emergencies and ensure business continuity.

Capital Projects & Renovations

  • Partner with Development and Construction teams to plan and execute remodels, retrofits, and brand refresh programs.
  • Manage capital expenditure budgets and timelines for facility upgrades and refurbishments.
  • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management for facility services and contractors.

Sustainability & Energy Management

  • Lead initiatives to reduce energy and water consumption, lower carbon footprint, and optimize waste management.
  • Implement energy-efficient systems and sustainable building practices across the portfolio.

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage annual facilities operating and capital budgets exceeding $110 million.
  • Optimize spend through vendor negotiations, preventive maintenance, and strategic sourcing.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key facilities performance indicators.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and mentor a geographically dispersed team, including directors, regional managers, and specialists.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Build cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment with restaurant operations.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Proven track record of managing large-scale facility portfolios (1,000+ locations) and complex budgets.
  • Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance programs, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience implementing sustainability programs and facility technology platforms (e.g., CMMS systems).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills.
  • Ability to develop long-term strategies while delivering day-to-day operational excellence.
  • Prioritizes the needs of restaurant operations and guest experience.
