Senior Analyst, Digital Analytics

Newport Beach, California 610 Newport Center Drive, 92660

CULTIVATE A BETTER WORLD

Food served fast does not have to be a typical fast-food experience. Chipotle has always done things differently, both in and out of our restaurants. We are changing the face of fast food, starting conversations, and directly supporting efforts to shift the future of farming and food. We hope you will join us as we continue to learn, evolve, and shape what comes next on our mission to make better food accessible to everyone.

THE OPPORTUNITY

At Chipotle, we are transforming digital analytics into a strategic capability that drives growth and enhances the guest experience. As a Senior Analyst, Digital Analytics, you will serve as a thought partner to digital leaders, proactively shaping strategy by asking the right questions, defining measurement frameworks, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. This role requires a balance of strategic vision and meticulous execution—ensuring data accuracy, uncovering actionable insights, and translating them into recommendations that advance our digital products and marketing efforts.

LOCATION

This position will be based in our Newport Beach, CA office 4 days per week (with work from home on Friday). Remote work is not available for this role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Act as a thought partner to digital leaders, proactively identifying opportunities where analytics can shape strategy and enhance the guest experience.

  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders by framing insights in business terms, building alignment across product, marketing, and technology teams, and driving adoption of analytics-informed decisions.

  • Manage the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, highlighting KPIs with accuracy, attention to detail, and consistency.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and analyses in Adobe Analytics, FullStory, and Target to deliver timely, actionable insights across digital channels (web, mobile apps, internal tools).

  • Design and advise on testing protocols (A/B, multivariate, personalization), ensuring hypotheses are strategically framed, measurement is rigorous, and results are interpreted in context.

  • Lead optimization initiatives, uncovering insights that translate into strategies for maximizing conversion, revenue, and guest engagement.

  • Partner on roadmap development, ensuring tracking requirements and measurement frameworks are defined in advance of new product launches or personalization initiatives.

  • Support implementation and QA teams, developing testing protocols and validating that analytics tracking is accurate, complete, and aligned with business goals.

  • Investigate and diagnose analytics issues with a forensic mindset, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve tagging defects or data gaps.

  • Bring strategic perspective and executional discipline—balancing big-picture vision with hands-on rigor in data accuracy, reporting, and insight delivery.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

  • 5+ years’ experience in digital analytics, customer data, reporting, and analysis, with a proven track record of turning insights into business impact.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead through influence, align cross-functional teams, and present complex findings in clear, compelling ways.

  • A strategic mindset, capable of evolving the practice of digital analytics beyond reporting—asking the right questions, shaping measurement strategies, and connecting insights to business outcomes.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reporting, data governance, QA, and execution, while balancing hands-on rigor with broader vision.

  • Expertise with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and familiarity with the broader Adobe stack (Target, AJO, RT-CDP). Experience with FullStory or similar behavioral analytics tools is a plus.

  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing, personalization tools, and experimental design, including the ability to frame hypotheses, validate results, and advise on next steps.

  • Proven ability to translate large, multi-source datasets into clear insights and actionable recommendations, driving strategy across digital product and marketing.

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to uncover and resolve tracking or measurement issues quickly and collaboratively.

  • Effective presentation skills, with confidence in influencing both technical and business audiences.
